Musical Fidelity A5CR Pre and Power Amplifiers

I am selling my Musical Fidelity A5CR Pre-Amplifier and A5CR bo. Both are excellent items of kit, very well built, fully working and have been used regularly and very well looked after.

All original MF boxes (both the inner and outer boxes are present for both items)
All original box packaging (Polystyrene, bag, cardboard protectors etc..)
Original instruction manuals
IEC type Power leads with 3 pin UK plug.

It doesn’e with:

An original MF remote control (as I have never had one), however I have previously purchased a decent third-party equivalent that will be included with the sale of the pre-amplifier.

Note that the remote just controls the volume up and down, mute and the switching between inputs on the pre-amplifier, although it will control other MF ponents (e.g. CD Player) if you have one.

No interconnects are included as part of this sale.

Condition:

I must be picky here for honesty reasons, there are a couple of very small marks to the top edge of the pre-amp and to the top edge and lower face of the power-amp, although they aren’t really noticeable when in a Hifi rack.

I have attempted to show the very good condition of both of these items, as best as I can, in the attached photos.

I will say that the items are in excellent condition and very well looked after, fully working, very well made (and thus heavy) and are excellent sounding.

There is nothing which affects performance and use, both perform very well, and I have been using them regularly with great results for a few years now.

You are e to inspect and see them working if you wish prior to purchase.

Shipping/Collection:

Initially I am advertising these items as COLLECTION only, mainly due to their weight, but also as I believe it may be risky to post them, however, if you want to arrange your own collection courier and suitable covering insurance then I am happy enough with this (but this is at your risk, I won’t be responsible for any damage in transit).

Note that the Pre-amp box has a shipping weight of 14kg and the power-amp box a shipping weight of 20kg.

Collection is from Whalley, Lancashire, BB7, approx. 15 miles East of Junction 31 of the M6 (Preston).

If it helps, I may be able to meet within a 50 mile radius if fuel monies are covered.

Other things to note:

I may be able to split the items for separate sales (prices to be agreed), but in honesty, I would rather not, as they do sort of belong together.

Preferred payment is cash on collection or by bank transfer, however payment must have fully cleared to my satisfaction prior to letting the items go.
