This is a one of a kind Tecnifibre squash racket, and won’t be found elsewhere. The standard balance between the head and the es out the factory as “Even” - I’ve paid £100 to have this modified so that it is now classed as “Head Light”, meaning that the racket feels lighter in your hand. This gives considerably more control on those high risk shots, and helps reduce forearm fatigue (and therefore grip slip) during the match. A balance adjustment to “head light” would normally result in a slight power loss. However, I have been able to maintain the same power as the original balance specification by upgrading the strings to Ashaway Supernick XL Micro (20lbs/sqinch), which are far superior to the standard strings at generating power, and durability. All in all this is a very finely tuned piece of equipment which would suit an advanced and powerful player looking to upgrade to a pro level racket.
Standard info: Its the Mohammed El-Shorbagy edition. It’s 125g. It’s Kevlar coated along the top of the head to provide superior glide and enhanced protection against the wall for tight shots. Comes wrapped with a new Karakal Super PU grip, as well as a carry case. I’ve owned it for 4 weeks so it has had minimal play out of it.
