We are looking for a Media Executive and Copywriter for our client based in Hythe. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter and a well-organised individual ,with the ability to meet deadlines whilst working across multiple projects. This person will have exceptional writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail and experience planning, implementing, and managing public relations strategies.
Responsibilities:
Write engaging, original copy for press releases, blogs, adverts and editorial
Organise and manage various public relations activities and events, playing a vital role in our ongoing PR strategy
Develop and maintain relationships with local, national, and international press and media contacts
Edit and fact-check content generated by colleagues
Work with the wider marketing team to shape language and tone used in customer-facing communications such as email and brochures
Create and oversee regular reports on content, PR and media performance
Monitor metrics related to our content using a variety of systems such as Google Analytics
Ensure all content is newsworthy and up to date
Work with media and internal stakeholders to organise photoshoots, on-site filming influencer and site visits
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all assets adhere to our brand guidelines and style guide

Requirements:
At least 3-years proven work experience in a front-facing media relations role, ideally at a visitor attraction, resort or hotel
Portfolio of published articles and press releases
Experience using media monitoring software such as Gorkana, Cision or similar
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g. social media posts)
Solid time-management skills

Salary up to GBP35,000 doe , plus benefits.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, five days out of seven, including some weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
