IMO the prettiest generation of MX5 in its best colour. I bought this for my 50 mile a day commute, which it's has been amazing for, but from April I’ll be using company vehicles so can't really justify owning two cars.

Since buying it I've had a four wheel alignment at Chris Mullins - they really know their stuff and the car drives fantastic now. I've replaced a window regulator and greased both front window tracks so they run a lot more smoothly. I changed the oil and filter at around 71800 miles. I replaced the rocker cover gasket as that was weeping a bit. I was going to change the cambelt but when I had the cover off it looked like new so I didn't bother. I will include the spare cambelt and tensioners I bought in the sale.

No warning lights - they all illuminate and go out as they should. Everything works. No leaks. Starts easily every time and has been a very reliable and enjoyable car to own. Only downside is the hood has a small tear in the rear window (turns out you shouldn't chuck the roof down when it's -2 out), but this is sealed and watertight and could be repaired more sympathetically with some clear waterproof tape or a replacement screen. It has a few blisters on the rear arches, but sills look good, and by MK2 standards it seems solid car. It has a twin-exit aftermarket exhaust which sounds great but isn’t excessively loud, just a lovely burble and a bit of snarl at higher revs.

As of today it's on 72197 miles, but this will go up a bit as I want to enjoy it before it goes!
