Lurcher looking for new home ASAP

Gus is an 18 month old male Lurcher, Saluki cross.
He is loving, beautiful, gentle and a joy to walk on the lead. He is great in the house, clean, not destructive and friendly.
He is great with other dogs but can’t be around cats or small furries, poultry as has a high prey drive.
He has to be kept in a secure garden and on a lead. He needs training with his recall.
Gus needs to live in an adult only home. He has shown signs of resource guarding only if he finds food. He isn’t like this with his meals, treats, bones or toys.
As a Home with small children the risk of him discovering discarded food is high and that is were the problem is for us.
Sadly I have made the decision that it would be in his best interest to rehome him where he isn’t at risk of putting the children or himself at risk.
He is microchipped, crate trained and healthy.
He will come with his harness, lead, long line (recall training) xl crate, snuggle bed and some food.
I will likely ask lots of questions as I want to make sure he’s goes to the right home.
