Charming, part furnished, one bedroom flat in a lovely location. A short walk to the seafront, Norfolk road is a quiet friendly street, but very close to the shops, bars and restaurants. Located in the basement of a period property, our flat is full of character and original features, decorated with neutral colours and with lots of storage space.
We are private landlords who live in the maisonette above so we are looking for quiet, responsible tenants who will look after our lovely flat.
We love the large kitchen with handbuilt units. It is lit by a domed skylight and contains a fridge-freezer, a dish-washer, a gas oven, and has an adjoining pantry/laundry room with washing machine. The double bedroom at the front has plenty of space and the current tenants use it also as a home office. Between these two is a cosy living room with feature fire place and charming wood-panelling. The small bathroom, off the entrance hallway (with plenty of space to hang coats) has a bathtub with shower head and shower curtain, plus a lavatory and sink.
The previous tenants say, “We’ve had a wonderful period of our lives living in this flat. It’s the perfect size and shape for us, and is a lovely quiet escape from the busyness of Brighton. I would take a month’s rent as deposit, a month’s rent in advance and ask for two references.
We will be having an Open Day Saturday 22nd April, to allow us a few days turnaround after the current lovely tenants have left. And we would be looking to have you move in from 1st May. I’d say no pets nor noisy children. We are a quiet couple who live above with one dog. If we have an occasional house party we’d be sure to let you know and hope that would be reciprocated!
