Challenger is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced professional to join their team as a Lighting Maintenance Engineer (Nationwide).
About the Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive lighting maintenance and installation of lighting, including LED and Emergency and associated electrical works within commercial and retail premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all works are carried out in line with appropriate current regulationsEnsure all aspects of work instructions are carried out in a timely and efficient mannerCo–ordination of activities with customers, onsite staff, and Challenger Head OfficeAbility to travel across numerous customer sites generally within a specific Region (UK) About You:
You must have strong communication skills and a sense of customer service, with the ability to use your initiative and a natural can–do attitudeYou must also be well organised with good time management Professional Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills:
17th or 18th edition IEE wiring regulations (Preferred)Full Electrical knowledge/experience (Essential)An awareness of health and safety and environmental issues (Essential)A full understanding of Emergency Lighting Regulations (Preferred)Functional IT skills (Essential)Full driving licence (Essential) Salary & Benefits:

You must be flexible with your working hours and willing to work on overnight projects when required, including nights away. Working hours are 48 based on a \"Home to Home\".The job role would require early starts for works to be carried out on customer premises in shopping centres prior to opening and night works will be necessary on occasions.
