early to mid 1990’s
I modelled the original in clay, made a plaster mould, sharpened the detail in the plaster before it became firm and once totally dry, hand pressed this tile.
When the clay was firm enough, the tile was decorated and then had to be dried slowly on thick wades of newspaper and turned every day to prevent warping.
Frost Proof - I've had tiles like this hanging outside for over 20 years.
Only one impression was ever taken of this tile
