Very low mileage with 12 service stamps up to 2006 and MOT history does show the miles after,it has been off the road for awhile please do your own research and check the MOT history
Last of the discovery 1 finished in Charleston Green, which was actually the last batch of Paint. The very last discovery 1 is also painted this colour and I believe this is in the last 300 cars, This is a very original unmolested example, it’s clean and tidy inside and out. Never been off road has the original Landrover steps which have normally rotted away by now. Very straight and tidy. No damage
This car requires mostly the front inner wings need replacing. Ideally with a full set, though they could be patched up however, considering the mileage and the uniqueness of this vehicle, I would suggest replacing the full inner wings
Mechanically this vehicle is excellent as you would expect for the mileage. It starts instantly the engine sounds good. It doesn’t smoke. The gearbox change is good no crunching in the gears the gearbox feels tight clutch is good, holds the road well not sloppy like many d1s. The timing belt is an unknown so I would suggest doing that ASAP. Also the brakes are a little bit soft but still very driveable .
Rust wise - as stated the front inner wings, ideally need replacing other than that the structural bodywork is very good. Rear archs are good rear floor is good but has been touched up in one place but it’s the original floor, Rear crossmember is good. The sills have never been welded, and it’s all genuine underneath,
BODYWORK- has laquer fade on roof along with a patch in bonnet , scratch, rear wings have some minor blisters in usual d1 places other than that the bodywork near perfect considering age, tyres are all very good Pirelli
Interior-excellent, considering the age, no damage, driver seat is good and firm, the dashboard is good. The headlining has started to sag but not major
These still make excellent every day Cars they are good on fuel drive Well considering the size and age parts are plentiful and very cheap and are only getting rarer and going up in value plus cheap classic insurance
