***Permanent, Full-Time KS2 ECT Class Teacher position starting September
You must be a responsible and creative KS2 ECT Class Teacher who has the skills to manage your lesson plans to incorporate all ability levels. You should be able to show challenge as a way of furthering the children's learning, as well as supporting the children who are struggling, with concrete apparatus in order for them to access the same learning as the others. The school wants teachers who can demonstrate first-class curriculum knowledge. You will have the skills to demonstrate at all times, throughout the school year, an appreciation of excellent teaching practice. You will have the vision to build the confidence of all pupils through engaging and upbeat lessons.
This KS2 ECT Class Teacher role involves you taking charge of a KS2 class which will be decided nearer the time. One of the fantastic parts of this role is that you will have the opportunity to work closely with a Senior teacher who will provide a level of support and guidance throughout your ECT year and beyond. Support is always available from the dynamic team of full-time supporting staff including the annually recruited graduate TAs. Day-to-day, you will be adjusting your teaching style to the creative philosophy of the department. With excellent support available, this is a fantastic opportunity for any practitioner who wants to successfully launch their teaching career.
