Meet Betty, the Black Jeep as the previous owner named it! Betty would be going with me flat-towed through Europe. Now, she needs another home! Only selling due to changes in my personal projects. Here are some of the Specs: Four-wheel drive, manual 6-speed gearbox, leather interior, electric front seats, heated front seats, electric tilt/slide sunroof, brushed aluminium dash facias, chrome outlined dash clocks, air con, 17\" alloy wheels, front fog lights, cruise control, remote central locking, integrated compass/computer, multifunction steering wheel, chrome roof rails, dual opening tailgate with flip-up glass, heated side windows (load area), body colour bumpers, chrome grille and door mouldings, functional boot mounted pop-up storage, slide-in towbar and electrics, 3 point rear safety belts, Isofix child seat anchors, 60/40 simple folding rear seats, new battery. Fully serviced.Next M.O.T due 1 February 2024.This Jeep is serviced regularly. I kept the previous owner's habit of servicing, so the oil has been changed every 6000 miles during my ownership of almost two years. It has always had a diesel additive called Hydra-blast added to every tank, which cleans and lubricates the common rail injection system to promote long life.The previous owner replaced the cam belt and water pump at 100,000 miles (next due 200,000), the battery is new, driveline fluids (transfer case/diffs etc) were renewed at 115,000 miles, and all brake rotors/pads have been replaced at various times. The rear control arm bushes were replaced with a quality Moog unit from the USA.While not perfect it is free from rust and the VM diesel in these kJ Jeeps is a robust, reliable motor, so there should be plenty of life left in it.There are some scratches in the paintwork and front bumper. The leather in the driver's seat is cracked in places, as expected with a vehicle of this age. The rear driver's electric window has stopped working.
