Ibanez 540STN Twin Neck 12 & 6 Electric Guitar
Extremely rare and in almost new condition.
Depending on the website you check there were only 30 - 70 of these guitars made during 1990 – 1991. Apparently Ibanez did not keep records.
This example finished in black is in excellent condition. Straight necks, no fret wear, fully functional switchgear. Every aspect of this guitar is very near to how it came out of the factory. The 6 string has the superb Ibanez Edge tremelo system, the 12 feels amazing. Both play wonderfully, lovely tone and silky smooth, with perfect action and sustain that goes on almost forever. As evident in the pictures the finish is like a mirror. There are some very minor depressions / marks on the back that most guitars get from use.

* Ibanez Allen key set and Ibanez manual / booklet as supplied with the guitar.
* Factory fitted case – as supplied with the guitar, 1 missing rubber corner piece at bottom back of case, see pics – otherwise in excellent condition. H:109 W: 55 D:11 cm.
* Ibanez strap - slightly marked. Its width, padding and age would suggest the strap may be bespoke for this guitar and supplied from the factory with the guitar and case. However I've no evidence of this, it may be just a belt from that era.
Full checkup and D’Addario strings fitted by the renown Brighton guitar tech Pedro Martins. This guitar is ready to play right out the box for the next owner.
These sought after guitars e up for sale, I’ve never seen another one in the UK. Purchased from Sweden and has been in my possession for the past 11 years.
An excellent plete example in near factory condition with all accessories present and correct.
Buyer collects or I can make delivery / meet-up arrangements– I will not be using couriers as the missing corner piece on the case was down to the courier that delivered it to me, despite very extensive packaging by the seller in Sweden. I’ve also seen friends guitars delivered with serious damage.
As this is such a rare item there will be no risk of it being ruined – I am prepared to drive a fair distance to ensure the new owner receives this guitar in the excellent condition it’s currently in. Delivery will incur costs but this will be to cover fuel expenses only. Please inquire.
