A 6 months+ opportunity for a HR Policy Support Manager has arisen with the local authorities in London. We are looking for an experienced HR Policy support person to lead and complete the delivery of the following three policy projects: Hybrid working, Recruitment & Vetting and compliance checks. Skills and Experience: Extensive experience of writing and implementing policies, having worked with TU representatives and other stakeholders in different sectors, including public/3rd sector Proven ability to write in plain English to a wide range of audiences, pitched to appropriate tone and style for the Council. Experience of having been a 'practitioner', ie on the ground implementing policies eg in capacity of HR Adviser/BP; able to demonstrate practical application of policy principles and procedures Understanding of local government terms and conditions Strong project management and data analytical skills Self-sufficient, able to manage own portfolio and ability to deliver high quality suitable policies and guidance without intensive hands-on supervision Sufficiently updated in employment legislation, strong understanding of equality, diversity inclusion and anti-racism, and developments in HR/industry practiceHours of work are 9am till 5pm, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
