An exciting opportunity has become available for a HR Assistant to join the business and this will be a position whereby you can really own the role and your ideas will be heard You will have the ability to be in the thick of a busy HR department and be exposed to all aspects of HR. As a HR assistant you will be responsible for the following tasks: Supporting the HR manager will all round HR tasks Inputting absence details from return-to-work forms and fit notes, ensuring all information is passed to payroll with accuracy. Assisting with documentation which will be required for payroll purposes. Assist with on boarding of new starters and relevant referencing and data is collected accurately. Ensuring that IT equipment and access levels for any new joiners/movers/leavers has been confirmed within a timely manner. As part of the Head Office support team you will provide an assistance service including the answering of telephone calls and accurate recording of messages. Responsible for producing Terms and Conditions of Employment & work letters (from templates) for all staff and any amendments to an employee s terms and conditions of employment during the course of employment. Responsible for producing HR staff files as per standard requirements and for ensuring that records are kept up to date and filed as per the agreed protocol. Responsible for maintaining and regularly updating the HR database. To type correspondence and other material as required for the Senior Management team. Note / minute taking for Disciplinary/Grievances and another Management meetings when required. Support the HR Manager with HR project work when required. Assist with all aspects of recruitment. Produce monthly HR metrics - absence stats, staff turnover stats and retention reporting. Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role as required. Managing highly confidential data Any other HR related duties The ideal HR Assistant will have / be. Drive and determination to make a difference in a HR role. 1-2 years previous experience of working in a HR Administration or Assistant Role Excellent Communication skills and interpersonal skills 3 GCSE s (Grade C or above) in English and Math s or equivalent. Intermediate MS Office / IT equipment high confidentiality. Team Player and willing to support others with empathy and an approachable demeanor. Friendly and professional. • Flexibility, willingness, enthusiastic. Good organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and effective multi-tasking.
