Hofner 6 string lute

Rare 1970s Hofner lute in excellent condition with original solid fitted case and I have 5 of the 6 original wooden and pearl string pegs. It plays well with a very reasonable action. I am using a fret as a bridge so that would need replacing. It has some slight finger wear on the top but has never really been played so the neck is lovely. It was bought at auction from a lot from pinewood studios and was a prop used in 'Carry on spying' in a scene with Barbara Windsor and Bernard Cribbens. It would be ideal for a Hofner collector but could be played also. It is marked 'Made in Germany' and has the classic Hofner carved rose neck. Its a really nice package for it's age and has been on telly many times!
