£90-£110 daily rate
Long-term - Permanent position
LTF Recruitment are working alongside an outstanding Primary school based in HA3, who have a fantastic oppurtunity for an experience Teaching Assistant, or Level 4 qualified HLTA to join their support staff team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, supporting classes across the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. As a HLTA, you pliment teachers' delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies. This exciting role is available to start straight after the half-term break, until the end of the academic year in July, and for the right candidate will go on to a permanent position.
Duties of the role include:
Working 1:1 with young learners, as well as delivering group support and intervention sessions for children working below age expected levels.
Delivering pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes in the absence of the class teacher, and leading lessons during PPA time.
Helping to engage SEN pupils and encouraging interaction.About You:
1 years' experience working within a Primary School
Level 4 HLTA Qualification is desirable, but not essential. The school are also open to considering experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants.The ideal candidate will be able to create a nurturing learning environment, which demonstrates their ability to accelerate children's learning and mitted to achieving high standards as well as creating an inclusive for all. To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt your approach depending on the learning needs of individual students. A deep knowledge and understanding of current curriculum areas, alongside an aptitude to develop creative lesson plans, is also essential.
