Working under the guidance of healthcare professionals as a healthcare assistant you'll be vital to ensuring the patients experience is fortable and stress-free as possible.

What you'll be responsible for:
Contribute to the delivery of a planned programme of care under the direct supervision of the nurse
Checking symptoms and vital signs and feedback to the nurse
Recognising, responding to, and escalating emergency situations
Maintain dignity of services users whilst providing personal care
Participate in the cleaning of clinical areas and protocols of infection control`
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You'll need to have the following qualification/experience:
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years Or
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Hospice or Care Home specialising in end of life care.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
