Job description Job description Health & Safety Officer/Manager Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, East Yorkshire GBP13-GBP15 per hour after 12 weeks will be GBP15 per hour Are you experienced in Health & Safety? Do you have a proven track record of delivering and maintaining HSE and environmental systems? We are working with a third generation family business that are passionate abut their product and their people. This role is working 20 to 25hrs with flexibility to work around school hours etc. Key Responsibilities: Supporting managers and employees with all aspects of HSE policies and procedures. Provide H&S management reports in a timely manner. Challenge unsafe behaviours and recognise areas for improvement. Ensure that risk assessments / safe systems of work requirements are met. Manage the safety inspections for all MHE, Fire Extinguishers, Ladders and Racking. Conduct monthly safety audits, behavioural observations and quarterly safety inspections. Investigate accidents/incidents to discover root causes and assist in the prevention of further incidents Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters. Personal Specification: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role would definitely be an advantage.
