We're looking for an experienced Head of Security Operations to join our friendly team at First Response Group.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Leeds (LS7 3JB), offering a great range of benefits and company culture, as well as a varied and challenging role.
You will be supporting the business through its continued growth across a diverse range of clients and oversee the successful delivery of security operations.
Additionally, you will need to ensure that the business is operating efficiently, and contract requirements are fulfilled as well as ensuring that the company is sustainable, successful, and effective, keeping staff and our customers happy and that our business is fulfilling their needs.
Key Outputs & Performance MetricsPerformance in this Head of Security Operations role is measured against customer and employee satisfaction, profitability, accuracy of data and reporting, increased efficiency and business performance, and the effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesProviding management and leadership to Operations Managers and supporting teams to ensure service is running efficiently.Monitoring and managing performance of operators.Account/Department P&L reviews.Internal and external KPI's.Supporting the business development team in preparing tenders / negotiating contracts.Reporting divisional performance to the senior leadership team.Resource planning and recruitment.This Head of Security Operations role would suit someone with experience in security, security operations, as a Security Manager, and Head of Operations or Operations Manager.

Previous experience in a senior security operations role (guarding)Up to date SIA Licence.Effective communication skills at all levelsAble and willing to take on responsibilityProcess focused, well organised, and accurateCritical-thinker & problem-solverSkilled in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookDesirable SkillsChartered Manager and/or Member of Security Institute.
