As the Head of Purchase to Pay you will lead several transactional teams as well as assist with strategy, automation, and transformation. Strengthen ownership and delivery of Service Compliance following repatriation and service recovery, as well as support change activity being driven out from transformation. The current structure has grown on the back of repatriation and has a number of FTEs with less than 2 years tenure! The role will be a hybrid working pattern with an expectation to be in one of our offices at least once a week - (Leeds, Sheffield, Salford, Bristol or Southampton). What you will be doing: Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, and reporting of our transactions per annum, in line with client contractual terms. Recruit, lead and develop an impactful team with a strong focus on delivering consistent service standards, positive outcomes and continuous improvement. Supervise the performance of the department including setting strategy for initial and ongoing training and development and ensuring a close working relationship with clients. Responsible for ensuring there is effective audit and control processes, ensuring that a robust financial control environment is achieved across all client ledgers, standards and robust financial governance are developed and maintained. Work with Procurement colleagues to develop a national Source to Settle client offering, ensuring flawless processing between teams. What you will bring: Able to lead large teams through a series of change whilst managing and developing Experience of change management and continuous improvement Taking care of large transactional volumes Good networking skills with senior stakeholders Great attention to detail and ability to use technology in the workplace Understanding of ERP systems, accounting policies, measurement rules, and business controls Deadline driven attitude and able to perform well under natural workplace pressures Desirable Skills: Previous experience of NHSSBS Strong educational attainment and an honours degree Working in a shared service environment Employment Type: Full Time Permanent Location: Leeds, Sheffield, Salford, Bristol or Southampton Security Clearance Level: DBS Internal Recruiter: Rachel Salary: up to GBP65,000 (plus a 3% flexible benefit) dependent on experience and development needs Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, GBP5,400 car allowance, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
