About the job
This is a temporary role to sit within the Programme Management Coordination team in the Environment and Energy Unit at the Greater London Authority for 6 months.
The role is required on a short term basis to provide administrative support on mayoral correspondence and communications, Freedom of Information Act requests and business support functions to both the Environment and Energy Unit and the Connectivity, Air Quality, Transport and Infrastructure Unit.
The urgent, short-term need is to support the unprecedented and unmanageable swell of correspondence, communications and administration resulting from the expanded work of both units, in particular and recent announcement to expand the Ultra Low Emissions Zone to the Greater London boundary.
Skills, knowledge and experience
Evidence of providing high-level project support to a senior manager and successfully co-ordinating a small project.Proven Experience of using IT systems including MS Outlook, spreadsheets and databases, with significant experience of excel spreadsheets.
