About the General Manager role:
You will work alongside the existing MD and shareholders to build a deep understanding of the business before assuming full P&L responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
Assume full P& L responsibility, set long term strategic plan and annual budgets. Report on progress: financial performance, operational excellence and market growth.
Lead marketing to drive growth in new leads and minimise cost of acquisition.
Lead and enhance the existing friendly, consultative sales process.
Identify opportunities for further continuous improvements in the operational delivery processes to enhance the existing excellent customer satisfaction and improve efficiencies.
Lead and develop the growing team to focus on our core principle of “Customer Obsessed”
About you:
A track record of business growth ideally in a B2C organisation from the stairlift, mobility or healthcare sectors.
Strong marketing experience, again ideally from a service led, B2C environment.
Proven management and exceptional organisational skills, a genuine can-do attitude as well as great attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, commanding respect at all levels both internally and externally.
Strong financial acumen, able to set plans and budgets and report on actual progress.
A true team leader, with the ability to recruit, retain and develop exceptional people to meet our growth expectations.
The Package:
A good basic salary is offered depending on skill and experience.
A performance related bonus will be implemented.
