If you love working outdoors, feel that you can make a positive contribution to change our environment, want to keep fit & healthy at the same time by doing a very rewarding job then read on We are looking to appoint a skilled Gardener to start work now! the role is maintaining our clients customers hi spec commercial property in the Knightsbridge Westminster area to exceptionally high visual standards, It's a very hands on role which can be physically demanding at times and will include working at heights. The ideal candidate will have good Horticultural level/knowledge and skills and again be comfortable working at heights You Must Have Some commercial gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is essential, some training (certification) maybe offered to the right candidate in regards to working at heights Working at heights in a similar role will be very advatageous If you have any qualifications in relation to Working At Heights - advatageous Or experience operating a BMU Building Maintenance Unit - advatageous Worked on buildings facades or high rise builds - advatageous Used power tools, mowers, hedge cutters & strimmers, Ideally have some plant/flower knowledge is essential Available for a start now ! Driving license (desireable) but not essential Qualifications PA1 / PA6 or chemical spraying or CSCS card The Hours Mon to Fri Guaranteed 40/45 hours per week Some early starts Winter hrs - later starts with early finishes Unlimited overtime avaialble Static large site however you maybe asked to cover other locations - All travel to site/s arranged by the company The Job Working locally for an international established company carrying out planned, reactive and new maintenance schedules The role will be mainly be working at heights but there maybe some additional associated tasks relating to the role Working in a small team or lone working Static role however there maybe some travel required to various sites within the surrounding areas Company vehicle, tools, ppe will be provided (own safety boots recommended) with additional support/training, however if you can hit the ground running that would be more beneficial as we are approaching the new season ! The positions may become permanent depending on your suitability and performance
