Fund Accounting Oversight Assistant required to join a dynamic and high-calibre organisation with endless opportunities. My client is looking for an individual looking to make the next step in their career with a leading Wealth and Investment Management organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Fund Accounting Oversight Assistant:
Monitor trade flow to ensure the settlement cycle is completeUpdate and distribute client supplied prices to value assetsComplete reconciliations to ensure the internal system is accurateUpdate daily performance spreadsheets for Onshore and Offshore fundsDistribute fund valuations to the investment teamsResolve trade/ valuation discrepancies when notified by Fund Managers / ComplianceLiaise with counterparties regarding the set up of new CIS accountsProvide monthly data to third parties Required skills and experience of the Fund Accounting Oversight Assistant:
Previous experience within the Fund Industry (desirable)Previous financial services experience (desirable)Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills including Macros and VLookupsGood team working skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written.Strong attention to detailGood problem-solving and analytical skills.
