What we have here is a Ford Escort Mk2 1100 crossflow engine.
This engine was bought originally from Platers in Gosport, (who sold new and reconditioned replacement engines), as a replacement engine for our works Escort van.
The engine had not even pletely run in, when someone drove in to the back of the van and wrote it off.
We bought a replacement Escort van and kept this engine as a spare, just incase.
The engine has been sat in the corner of my garage for 30 years and has never featured in any thoughts with regards to using it again.
The engine is 'stuck' as in, it will not turn over.
So it is being offered for sale as Spares or Repair with NO hint or promise of warranty.

The skate the engine is sat on is NOT included in the sale.
The engine is located in Waterlooville.
It is possible to maintain the correct social distancing for collection.
