Blauberg ISO flexible ducting is both thermally and acoustically insulated. A tough, puncture resistant outer aluminium layer covers a thick section of dense acoustic sound and temperature absorbing media. The inner spirally wound core is perforated to allow sound to be further absorbed.

Acoustic low noise ducting is the preferred method for connecting MVHR heat recovery ventilation fan units to intake and output air duct connections to outside. It is not only just a Part F Building Regulation approved solution, it greatly reduces installation time but to its flexibility. It is also a condensation 'hot-spot' as this is where large temperature differences occur from the MVHR unit to external air. So, in effect, you have three solutions in one; reduced noise, less condensation and a high degree of flexibility in where to position your heat recovery unit and the external connections through a wall or roof.

The insulated flexible ducting fits over any 'same-sized' hear recover unit duct connected and secured to make an air tight seal using a jubilee clip. Special self adhesive aluminium insulating tape is then used to seal in the sound absorbing media and the outer layer to form a neat, air tight connection.
