RM Recruit are delighted to be working with one of our not–for–profit clients in the housing arena. Our client is seeking a diligent, driven Finance Officer to join their team on an initial 6–month basis with the scope for the contract to be extended. The role is full–time or could be considered on a part–time basis working 30 hours a week across Monday – Friday.
The responsibilities of the role consist of but are not limited to:
Bank reconciliationProcessing supplier invoicesAssisting in streamlining processesManaging aged creditors and supplier relationshipsWeekly payment runsAssisting with payroll processesCredit controlManaging the aged debtorsCredit card reconciliationProcessing expensesAssist the wider finance team as and when required As the ideal candidate, you will be AAT part qualified or qualified by experience. You will ideally possess experience of working in the third sector, however, candidates with the relevant experience from outside the sector will also be considered. You will possess good, practical knowledge of excel and previous experience of managing purchase/sales ledger. You will be an organised and confident communicator with the ability to work on own initiative. Omniledger knowledge would also be highly advantageous for this role. You will possess excellent attention to detail and be a well organised individual, capable of managing and prioritising workload on a day–to–day basis.
Our client is able to offer a flexible, remote working arrangement with bi–weekly meetings taking place in the Midlands with the Finance Manager once a fortnight.
