Job: Director of Finance (Deputy S151 Officer) Contract: 5-6 months GBP875 per day (umbrella) Location: Central London Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office Start date: Monday 3rd April Cedar have partnered with a local government organisation who are seeking a Director of Finance who has been a deputy S151 officer for a 5-6 month contract. To be considered for this role it's essential that you have experience of being a finance director within a local government organisation where you have been a deputy S151 officer. You will oversee a team of 150 with 9 director reports. Key Responsibilities: Development & co ordination of the corporate financial framework Deliver efficient financial systems and processes Deliver efficient and effective accountancy and treasury management services that enable financial resources to be accurately recorded Effectively manage budgets Set strategic objectives and lead delivery through robust business and financial planning Person: Qualified accountant Experience of being a finance director within a local authority Experience of being a S151 deputy officer Team management experience
