Fantastic hand-crafted toy soldier fort with drawbridge

This is a stunning and ingeniously designed fort for a valiant regiment of beautifully turned out toy soldiers. They are mustering to defend their crenellated stronghold against the provocations of an unruly dragon, who has climbed their approach hill and threatens to cross their drawbridge.
Luckily they have the winding mechanism to draw this up, and three back-up canons just in case. There’s even a prison tower so if necessary he could be put behind bars.
Every element of this fort has been lovingly made by hand by an artisan craftsman, so each of the nine brave soldiers has his own distinct physiognomy, as well as rifle or indeed drum, and the Union Jack is cleverly crafted to look as though it is flying in the breeze.
The fort is immensely practical too. The whole arrangement slots together, so can be easily dismantled once the battle is won. Turn the base upside down, and all the elements, including the hill, can be stored in the green-felted area beneath - until the next military parade or crisis.
Solidly built of natural wood, and hand-painted with a resilient finish, this fort will keep your children or grandchildren occupied for hours, stimulating their imaginations and encouraging their inventiveness. Although much loved, es in excellent condition, with only marginal traces of wear, and slight damage to the flag base. All items pictured are included.
The dimensions are: Base width at widest point: 44.5cms, base length at widest point: 66cms, total height to top of battlements: 33cms, length of hill: 49.5cms.
