This is a one off master piece of the famous Afghan girl Sharbat Gula the Afghan refugee in Pakistan during the Soviet - Afghan War.
The original photo was taken by Steve McCurry near the Pakistan City of Peshawar.
Wonderfully sketched and created by the artist Suriyun in Chiang Mai Thailand back in 2003.
The attention to detail is exceptional.
I had it professionally framed in Beverley Yorkshire also in 2003.
Reluctant to sell this piece but I’m moving home.
Whatever angle you look at this photo she is always looking at you.
Difficult to get a clear photo of this due to reflections.
72cm x 53cm in the frame.
