Bonjour à tous !
My name is Olivier. I was born and raised in Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium, and graduated as a French teacher with the Alliance Francaise – Paris Ile-de-France with a DAEFLE (Diplôme d’aptitude à l’enseignement du français langue étrangère) in 2018.
I am giving French classes in Edinburgh and the Lothians as well as online with Skype. I build all my classes around your needs and wishes, whether you are preparing exams, a relocation to France or simply brushing up your holiday French, I will always adapt my courses around your particular interests.
The charges are £30 per hour. The charge remains the same for up to three students. For intensive classes, specific needs or larger groups, please always feel free contact me for a quote.
School support:
Is your child struggling with French at school? I can help! I can provide extra support with the school materials, help them be prepared for their tests but also help them gather a better understanding of grammar basics and interact with them in French, helping them with understanding and pronunciation. And of course, encourage them discover more about French and the French speaking-world cultures.
Exam preparation:
I can provide help to prepare secondary school students for their exams (SQA - Nat 5, Highers, Advanced Highers, GCSE's, A-Levels, Cambridge IGSCE, AQA, IB and the official French exams DELF and DALF). I can help assessing their level, train them with language exam techniques and boost their confidence for the speaking part of their examination. Whether it is a year-long help with their French classes or an intensive exam preparation week, I always adapt to each student requirements.
