For sale is my Epiphone Thunderbird Bass Guitar in a beautiful Vintage Sunburst!
This is a fantastic sounding and looking bass. The Thunderbird is quite a heavy guitar and is known for a bit of 'neckdive'. This hasn't stopped players such as Krist Novoselic, Shavo Odadjian, Gene Simmons or John Entwistle using one though! The placement of the top strap button on this model helps with this a pared to other models of the Thunderbird.
With its two humbuckers it gives a hefty sound which punches above it's weight class. The two volume pots for the bridge and neck along with the tone pot work without issue. A relatively skinny neck with a gloss finish at the back makes the fortable to play.
I've personally only owned it for around 2 years or so. During my time of ownership, it's only seen studio time and never been gigged. I've also kept it away from pets and smoke.
Main reason for selling is because I mostly play guitar now and I am not getting the use out of it.
This Epiphone Thunderbird can handle a lot of genres and will not disappoint!
