Hello friends,
We are Manos and Heather and we are looking for a new person to share our lovely 3-bedroom house in Totterdown, and fill the shoes of our dear flatmate who’s leaving us behind for new pastures! We also have a cat called Ro, who is a very friendly and easygoing tabby.
The house is located near Wells road in a very quiet and family–friendly area of Totterdown which is close to anything that you might need, from supermarkets, pharmacies, independent grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs, etc. There is a shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen that overlooks our back garden. The shared spaces are spacious and feel warm, forting. There is also a shed in the back garden with its own entrance where you can store items and bicycles.
The room is a spacious, sunny middle-sized double bedroom with lovely hand-made wooden furniture and a great view of Arnos Vale. Heather and I are pretty easygoing as housemates but very on-point with looking after the house as our home, as well as looking after one another and respecting each other’s needs. We hang out together and enjoy each other’pany, but we also enjoy spending time doing our own thing. Our landlord is a good friend and a great human being. He lives in the US and is generally just one email away for anything that we or the house might need.
The rent is £538 per month, including all bills (internet, water, gas, electricity). Historically the rent has been at a flat rate which included an average of the peaks and troughs throughout the year. However due to the ongoing increases in cost of energy, Cass (our landlord) has been bearing the brunt of the extra costs. In order to rectify this it is possible that we will have a slight increase in the rent from mid-2023 onwards.
We are looking for a working professional, preferably a non-smoker, who is in their 30s or above and who likes cats :-). We care to live with someone who is clean and responsible in taking care of the house as your own home, as well as kind and respectful, fitting in with the family-like feeling of our house share. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly household and e all from munity.
