Daily Housekeeper - Kensington

Our client is seeking daily Housekeeper to work alongside a strong team of household staff, all of whom enjoy delivering to a very high standard within this well organised home, hence a good team player is required.
You will be working on a rota basis to ensure the standards of the family residence are kept to the principal’s expectation, and this includes weekends when they are in residence, with 2 days off during the week.
The family have 4 children at boarding school/University, and they tend to spend holidays and school breaks in their homes overseas so there are down times and no weekends in the Summer, Christmas and Easter holidays.
Your duties will include cleaning, polishing, preparing bedrooms, and ensuring the finishing touches are taken care of throughout the property.
It is important that you have a strong work ethic, flexible attitude towards your duties, and the experience of working in a busy but not so formal household, which can at times be fairly chaotic. Friendly and cheerful personality is required with professional boundaries maintained at all times.
The family have 2 x dogs and 2 x cats, so animal friendly person is a must.
You will work 5 days per week - 8-9 hours on a rota basis - the shifts are as follows:
9:00am - 5:00pm
2:30pm - 8:30pm
Occasional 7am – 3pm shift (only when service lady is off)
Your 2 days off will be on Rota and planned in advance, but with family away and no guests in residence, your hours will be Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. However when in residence, work on a weekend rota between all Housekeepers. If at any time you are working extra hours, the House Manager ensures that time is given back in lieu.
Casual uniform is provided (polo shirt and black trousers). Salary: £43,000 gross pa annum / £600 npwk. Start ASAP.
