Credit Controller

Alexander Daniels are seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a services business based in Birmingham City Centre on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager and working as part of a friendly team, you will be responsible for the debt collection for the business and support the wider business functions. This role offers flexible working and future progression opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Chasing of debts and maintaining debtors ledgerProcessing credit notesDealing with customer queriesInvestigate and resolve accounting issues & discrepancies.Work with management and compile reports/summaries on activity areasOperate in accordance with accounting standards and proceduresProvide support to sales ledgerOther Adhoc duties as and when required. Essential:
Proven experience in Credit Control.
Familiarity with basic accounting procedures
Previous experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Strong personality and excellent communication skills.
