NHS Shared Business Services has a super new opportunity for you to join their freshly designed audit team. In this role, you will be leading on all aspects of the business's audit programmes, across all lines of business and central functions!This is an opportunity to get creative, to use your existing skill set and really be able to make a difference. There are no defined parameters, so you will have the autonomy and the opportunity to make this role your own. With access to ground-breaking technology, you will be analysing information to identify trends of conformance and non-conformance across NHS SBS. Developing innovative methods of monitoring and responding to audit outcomes, you will play a huge part in shaping the business for the future!
If you are a creative, \"outside of the box thinker\" who has the experience of identifying ways of improving process and defining new ways of delivering the service, this could be the perfect role!
This hybrid role will be predominantly home based, eventually with only 1 day a fortnight required in the office. To ensure the new starter has all the training and support they need to become successful in this position, there will be a need to travel more frequently to our Southampton based office during the first few weeks.
What you will be doing:
Collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team and Senior partners within the business around the reviewing of audits across the businessMonitor the internal and external annual audit plan/requirements, working closely with the business and lines of business to assist with internal and external auditsHighlighting areas of non-conformance/areas of development to internal business areas, tailoring your delivery depending on the audienceWorking closely with external partners, being able to represent NHS SBS within external meetingsProvide administration support to the NHS SBS audit lead in preparation of executive level and audit committee papers and reports What you'll bring:
A background and sound understanding gained within a compliance roleConfidence with using qualitative data to understand trends/key themesAnalytical and creative problem solving skillsThe ability to work autonomously and plan your own schedule to work to SLAsAn understanding of how to deal with sensitive information with appropriate discretionIf you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!
