Citroen C4 1.6 HDI Loeb limited edition number 14 (very few left out of only 400 Loebs sold in the UK) for sale with only 96k miles on the clock (timing belt only needs replacement at 150k miles). These Loebs will be a collectable classic very soon.

I love this car, and the only reason why I'm selling is because of the unfair money grabbing scheme of the ULEZ expansion that will cover all London to the M25 in August. Great opportunity for those who live outside London.

This is one of a few limited edition numbered Loeb's with a powerful and very economical 1.6hdi engine, very reliable, with an average of 54 miles per gallon (see picture). It's a very powerful motor, a sports but comfortable car, very cheap to insure, to tax and to maintain, and it literally saves you a lot of money in fuel, which at this low price makes the car ending up paying itself with the savings.

It comes with other high specification including:
Loeb badging and 014 number, rear spoiler, part-leather seats front and rear in grey and red with Citroen symbols in the head rest, rear arm rest,
split rear seat (40/60), factory mp3 CD unit with amazing quality sound and steering wheel controls,
17inches alloy wheels, rain sensing automatic wipers, digital rev counter changing colour to red when hitting the red line @7000rpm and other extras, such as digital clocks.

I bought the car two years ago with 85k miles and never had any problems. I spent over £1200 in services overall to improve it:
- Oil change service and new filter (recommended Total oil)
- New alternator belt (Bosh)
- New glow plugs (NGK)
- New air and cabin filters (Mann)
- New fuel filter (Bosh)
- Remapping to turn off the EGR ( guaranteed no anti-pollution system errors and these ones didn't come with DPF)
- Disk brakes and disk pads had been changed recently
- Timing belt in these diesel motors are recommended to be changed only at 150k miles by Citroen, which was confirmed by my mechanic who assured me that the belt was in good shape (please see picture of the service book)
I was charged about £800 for these 2 recent services, reason why I'm asking this price.

The motor is in perfect condition and the car pulls and drives really well, even better after being serviced with the new glow plugs. Breaks are working very well too and they don't need to be replaced anytime soon.

The only cons is that there are a few esthetic details that come with age, but that only matter if you want the car to be perfect, but if you're not fussy you don't need to:
- it has a few scuffs, since it was scratched on the left of the front bumper once while parked.
- handbrake button is missing, but still works (can be easily replaced).

With a fuel consumption of 4.7 litres/100km - 60 mpg UK, 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 11.2 seconds, a maximum top speed of 119 mph (192 km/h), a curb weight of 2822 lbs (1280 kgs), the C4 1.6 HDi 110 has a turbocharged Inline 4 cylinder engine, Diesel motor. This engine produces a maximum power of 110 PS (109 bhp - 81 kW) at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm (177 lb.ft) at 1750 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the front wheel drive (FWD) with a 5 speed Manual gearbox.
On the topic of chassis details responsible for road holding, handling behaviour and ride comfort, the C4 Stock tire sizes are 205 / 55 on 16 inch rims at the front, and 205 / 55 on 16 inch rims at the rear. For stopping power, the C4 1.6 HDi 110 braking system includes Vented Discs at the front and Discs at the rear.These 1.6hdi motors are very reliable, they all go easily over 300k miles with maintenance.

The C4 by Loeb is a limited-edition C4 built to honour Sebastian Loeb’s achievements in world rallying and Citröen’s return to the WRC championship after a short break.

The Loeb black C4 has 17-inch rims in grey, ‘By Loeb’ badging and the individual serial number 14 to denote which of the 400 cars coming to the UK is yours. Inside, a mix of black and red leather and cloth brightens up the interior, there are Citröen chevrons embroidered onto the headrests and smatterings of chrome and aluminium on the dash and the pedals. It gets the still-cool steering wheel whose hub remains fixed as the rim turns and a stylish dashboard.

The engine is smooth and free-reving, the gearshift is quick and it corners flatly, grips well and refuses to be upset by challenging B-road bumps. Power figure of 8.0-sec 0-62mph time.

A great car for a Citroen addict, a collector or a new driver, or simply someone who wants a sports car that is cheap to run. This was literally the road version of a rally car, limited edition, very rare, collectable and which will value with time, and somehow discrete in the black colour version.
