Do you have a background in Engineering or Steel sector and looking for a new opportunity? Have you experience working in Administration or document control and have a good idea for detail or have previous experience in reading or interpreting engineering drawings or similar? Do you desire a role where you are involved in production planning process organising production before manufacturing stage? If you feel this is you, please read on and apply. Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who have a requirement for a Certification Officer. They specifically supply parts to the Oil and Gas and Aerospace sectors. Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role: Ideally have a background in Administration or document control and worked in Engineering, Manufacturing or Steel sectors. Ideally have a good eye for detail or have knowledge or experience of interpreting Engineering drawings. Collating and Reviewing documentation prior to be released to customer. Generating certificates of conformance in accordance with strict requirements or worked with documents and processed them to instruction. Working closely with personnel at all levels, both internal and external to effectively compile all the necessary documents required to certify products in accordance with customer requirements in various sectors such as Oil and Gas. Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Power-Point). Use of in house ERP system Creating First Article Inspection Reports. Candidates who don't have experience in these sectors, please apply as the company would be open to training. The company is located in Sheffield in Attercliffe area. The offer for the role of Certification Officer: Salary - GBP20-22k/per annum Hours - Regular days Company pension On-going training provided This is permanent contract going straight onto the books of the company.
