An exciting opportunity to join a leading industrial solutions manufacturer who is currently seeking a Business Manager to join their team.
Client Details
Our client is a leading Rigid Plastics industrial solutions manufacturer who is looking to grow their team in the UK. You will be joining the business as part of a strategic vision with the focus of implementing strategies of change in the business resulting in growth of sales across the UK.
As Business Manager, you will report into the Sales Leadership Team and be responsible for a team of 3 Key Account Managers across the UK. You will be tasked with implementing a strategic vision and plan in line with our clients growth strategies, for every customer.
Description
As Business Manager, you will be responsible for:
Circa GBP40m P&L responsibility across the UKManage a team of 3 Key Account Managers and provide direction, coaching and leadership through setting clear goals and targets and ensuring there are robust sales plans in place for their customersDefine set targets for your team to accountability for delivery of their sales targets Develop and implement a 3 year sales strategy for each customer account, with a focus on channel strategies to ensure delivery of increasing market shareDelivery of our client's business planDevelop commercial initiatives to help drive performance throughout the yearTraining and coaching on negotiation strategies to help maximise profitability of salesBe an active and visible leader, helping to shape wider business strategiesConsistent market analysis which will identify areas for growth in the business Profile
The successful applicant:
Strong experience working in a Commercial role with P&L responsibilityPrevious sales experience with Rigid Plastics or a similar technical product would be advantageousExperience manager Blue Chip customersPrevious management experience is essential Proven track record of developing members of your team through performance management and coaching Be a collaborative individual with internal stakeholdersStrong Change Management experienceProven experience of formulating and executive strategic business plansManaged recruitment processes in the past, and successfully managed new people into the businessStrong negotiation and influencing skillsWilling to travel Job Offer
