BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – UK GOVERNMENT / PUBLIC SECTOR – GLOBAL ORGANISATION – REMOTE WORKING - £100,000 BASIC SALARY + £100,000 OTE + CAR ALLOWANCE & EXCELLENT BENEFITS
Our client is a market leading national and international solutions provider operating in over 55 countries, offering market leading support and infrastructure within the digital and technical arena.
Due to their continued and huge success, they now require a highly experienced Senior Business Development profession to deliver significant growth within the UK Government Sector.
THE ROLE
* As a Business Development Director, you will be selling our clients range of Physical and Digital products into UK Government and the Public Sector
* You will be working on “big ticket deals”, typically £1m +
* You assume responsibility for driving new business by demonstrating industry, systems and trend knowledge
* You will be tasked to deliver significant growth by sourcing new business as well as dealing with existing clients/contracts
* Sourcing new prospects to increase revenue, growth and quota attainment
* You will be responsible for shaping strategy, executing sales and deal planning in order to achieve your target and deliver growth for our client
* This is a remote working role, UK Based
THE PERSON
* The successful Business Development Director MUST have similar experience of selling into and dealing with UK Government and the Public Sector
* Strong background and proven experience of strategic new business hunting, enterprise level and consultative selling, sales process and solution selling.
* A proven background of selling into core ministerial departments and agencies. With particular experience across Tax, Business, Defence, Security Services, Home Affairs, Environment and Justice departments
* Experience of working with channel partners and systems integrators(SIs)
* Have the ability to develop solutions that map to customer requirements
* Naturally, you must have excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.
* Ability to influence and negotiate Ideally working in a digital or technology business
* UK Based and eligible to work in the UK

* £100,000 Basic Salary
* £100,000 OTE (uncapped) – Much of the team are currently exceeding targets
* £510 per month car allowance
