Can be used as forward or rear facing. As you can see from image 3 the underneath padding doesn't look great - this is how it was when we brought it - it's been cleaned and functionally there's nothing wrong with the seat
We needed this for our child when they had a spica cast. Image 4 shows how it looks with the extra padding for the back and bottom and longer belt.
If required - I'd be happy to set this up in your car with the padding and longer belt.
Once the child is out of the spica cast the seat can be used as a normal seat without the padding and longer belt.
