Hello everyone,
My name's Alex - I'm a bassist with over 20 years of live and studio experience. I've been on tour and played festivals with original and tribute bands, and regularly gig in UK private events.
I offer bass lessons tailored to the students' specific needs - whether you'd like to learn your favourite songs or delve deeper into music theory, I'm here to help. My lessons can focus on techniques necessary to play all genres, from pop to rock, from jazz to indie, folk and so on.
I'm qualified with a Level 6 Performance Diploma with Rockschool and a Grade 8 certificate with the RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors), both awarded with a Distinction score, and i hold a full DBS certificate.
I can teach in my place in North London, online via Skype or i can come to the student's place.
My rates are £35 p/h for lessons at mine or online, while the base rate for lessons at the student's place is £40 p/h, and will depend on travel practicality. I also offer a £20, 1 hour long first lesson to meet and have a chat about your goals.
