This is a new role and there is space for the right individual to help shape the full remit and impact of the job profile. Responsibilities will include observing and assessing the quality of training with requirements to make recommendations on improving processes and ways of working. You will act as a liaison between the TT&E Leadership team and the staff to implement their training and development needs. Your main responsibilities will include: Building strong relationships with key internal staff whilst also developing strong relationships with wider AWE stakeholders appropriate to area of expertise. Evaluating training programmes including scoping and implementing training provided by external suppliers. Supporting the maintenance of training records. Providing reporting tools and useful metrics for the leadership team. Coordination of development programs. Deputise for the Training Manager. Facilitation of future courses. Development of the Training team's collaborative comms plan and training updates through innovative marketing and delivery to the wider TT&E staff Mentoring responsibilities of the Training Assistant Manager This list is an example of the main areas of remit, and it should be expected that you will be required to fulfil other duties that are aligned to your position in line with the company's needs. Your evidenced skill set should include but not be limited to: Strong communication and people skills. Strong organisational skills. Experience of learning and development processes (i.e. ADDIE model). Good presentation skills and a concise written and verbal communicator. Good facilitation skills. Team oriented personality. Mentoring and Coaching skills. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
