Assistant Buyer - Renfrewshire

Our client a very busy construction main contractor are looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer on a temporary basis.
Working alongside a Chief Buyer and Buyer you will be responsible for buying construction materials for building projects across Scotland. You will take material orders from site and then contact the preferred suppliers including building merchants to place the orders.
This is a fast paced role, speaking to lots of internal colleagues on the phone to understand their material needs and then processing the orders. Experience in a buying role is essential with preference given to candidates with construction buying experience.
The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a 4pm finish on a Friday.
An immediate start is available with an initial anticipated duration of two months, with the potential for a permanent role.
