ANTIQUE PLATTER with Lovely Oriental Scene & Wide Floral Border -

This is a beautiful oval antique English platter with a striking design. It is Victorian transfer ware in deep Cobalt blue on white. The very detailed Oriental scene in the center includes 3 pavilions, a bridge, a sailing boat, 4 trees, various flowers and 2 flying birds. This is surrounded by a deep floral border of Peonies.
The mark on the back appears to read 'Olde Alton Ware, England'.
The platter is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
It measures 9 1/8 in. (23.3 cm) x 11 1/2 in. (29 cm).
