Bow Back Office Captains Chair
in a Blonde Elm Wood, Cabriole Legs with Red Leather Studded Seat,
circa 1890.
We are delighted to offer this wonderful English late Victorian period antique office chair. Classic captains bow back design with cabriole front legs in a blonde elm wood. This chair has a patina to die for only acheived over many years, wonderful signs of age & is in an gorgeous amber gold colour. Textured red leather padded seat with studded edge details. It would look fabulous in an entrance hallway, as a bedroom chair or work well as a period office chair. This es direct from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found antique age related condition. It's been properly cleaned, waxed & so is ready to use, love & enjoy. It remains in good strong usable condition & displays very nicely indeed. It's style & design is typical of it's late Victorian period & would date to circa 1890's.
