Antique Art Deco, Octagonal Wall Mirror, Bevelled, Mildly Distressed Mirror Plate.This is a very nice, quite heavy quality item. I have been coy about the wood type as not sure, could be mahogany, could be walnut, please view the pictures for your own opinion. The fixings on the back look Victorian to me but the design more deco, so I think it is very early in that period. The mirror plate is silvered, bevelled and just showing first signs of distressing. It's es from the quality of the glass plate. The chap in the flat cap is making the distressing feature very popular but must say it is mpletely functional as a mirror and only very minor. Width 62 cm, height 62.
