I am selling a top (professional) quality alto recorder by the famous maker Tom Prescott.
Made in Thai Boxwood (one of the true boxwoods - Buxus Srindhorniana) after the 18th Century maker I.C. Denner.
This is a wonderful instrument in baroque pitch that has amazingly had little use from new (max. 20 hours). While it was made many years ago, Tom posted this brand new recorder to the buyer by UPS whereupon it subsequently got lost. It resurfaced only recently when I bought it for myself. I have played it a few times myself, but have decided that I cannot justify keeping all of the recorders that I own, since some rarely get played.
Since I have another Prescott, I have decided to part with one of them. The current new price on one of these is $2,625.00, so grab yourself a bargain.
