Account Manager - Tyne and Wear

I am currently recruiting for a well known company in the North East who are a tier 2 automotive supplier.
Due to their order book growing they are looking to expand their team!
They are looking for an account controller to help support the business.
Main Duties include:
● Raise job cards for requirements up to 2 weeks ahead for planner.
● Check customer schedules up to 6 weeks ahead (weekly) to ensure supply is covered.
● Daily calls with customers and suppliers, (highlight potential issues)
● Place orders with suppliers.
● Monitoring daily delivery performance.
● Answer general customer queries/issues over the telephone or email in a timely manner.
● Check off loads against schedule - ensure no issues
● Update delivery performance monitor
● Deal with day to day queries, i.e. reject stock at customer, supplying POD'S, additional deliveries (where necessary), Overdues list (if any), chasing wagons, chasing deliveries required from supplier.
● Reduce old stocks
● Queries regarding invoices and credits
● Setting up new parts, CQC's when required
● Liaise with Planning Manager on daily requirements to establish delivery quantities and times.

● Work ethic - Possesses a strong willingness to work hard to get the job done.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5pm
Friday 8.15 - 3pm
