A stunning large Helen Bradley painting,
'The Fair at Daisy Nook' signed in pencil lower right with blind stamp lower left, this is a limited edition colour print, Helen Bradley was born in Lees, on the outskirts of Oldham, In her teenage years she had attended the Oldham school of art, specializing in embroidery and jewellery, at the start of the First World War, she had to leave school to help her father in the family business, In 1926 she met Tom Bradley, a textile designer, and the two married and went on to have two children, in 1979 Helen Bradley was presented with an M.B.E. for her contribution to the arts by Her Majesty the Queen, this is a sunning image full of happiness and a reflection of bygone times, the dimensions are 98cms by 74cms, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee or pack and post nationally 1798
